iSA 360 Mentoring Program
The iStandAbove Mentoring Program is an annual year-long program for participants who successfully complete the Xpect Leadership Program. The mission of this program is to keep the talent recruited from the Xpect Leadership Program consistently engaged over the course of the year by assigning them to weekly projects, giving them community service responsibilities, and assisting them with school course work.
The participants will be assigned local mentors who will be responsible for ensuring the completion of their projects, helping the participants to develop efficient time management skills, providing educational assistance and supporting and communicating their progress to U.S.A based mentors and iSA team executives. The participants will also be assigned international mentors from the U.S.A who will be responsible for biweekly communication with their mentees through the use of Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) applications such as Skype. They will communicate with the mentees to set short and long term goals, and work with them and their local mentors to achieve these goals.
The mentoring program will be held in an iSA facility where the participants and mentors will have access to needed resources such as computers, software, printers, projectors, etc. The iStandAbove team believes that this program will help the participants to stay focused and promote relationship building between the western and eastern global communities.
By introducing young role models into the lives of the Ghanaian youth, iSA is certain to positively impact the success and continuous development of the students.
