Mission & Values
The iStandAbove Organization (iSA) is a nonprofit organization that propels underprivileged young individuals worldwide toward their short and long term goals by providing them with the resources necessary to ensure their continued upward movement on the ladder of success.
The purpose of iSA is to ensure that young individuals faced with adversities across the globe are given the opportunity and support needed to help them fulfill their dreams and aspirations in life. We believe these individuals each have a unique talent that, in many cases, is suppressed by conditions and/or circumstances beyond their control. These conditions range from financial constraints on their families to the lack of access to information on the opportunities at their disposal.
The goal of iSA is to provide these potential future leaders of the world with assistance and exposure which are two of the most important ingredients in the pursuit of success. iSA is initially directing its focus on Ghana, West Africa and plans to expand to other regions such as the rest of Africa, the United States of America, the Middle East, Asia, and the United Kingdom in the future.
There are three outstanding values that are exemplified in each officer of iStandAbove: Leadership, Teamwork and Creativity. These values form the bedrock of our organization and will continue to guide the activities and decisions of the organization to ensure healthy, organic growth and the achievement of our objectives and the objectives of our participants. The objectives of iSA include:
- I. To provide financial resources and educational opportunities to deserving and determined students who demonstrate the drive to succeed in all areas of their lives
